TVT Records To File For Bankruptcy

It is the end of New York-based TVT Records that is expected to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection later this week.TVT was the home to major recording stars like Teedra Moses,Lumidee, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Pitbull, and the Ying Yang was Billboard Magazine’s #1 Independent Label for five consecutive years (2001-2006).
The company has terminated the majority of their employees and there are no clues whether the label’s release schedule for this year will be affected.
