While reading through these blogs, I noted 2 things: 1. The high incidence of illiteracy and ignorance in our nation. 2. That so many people think violence in a relationship is par for the course. If she hit him, she was wrong. If he then hit her in retaliation, that made 2 wrongs. It is NOT OKAY for people to batter each other in a relationship. If a couple is too immature (at any age) to iron out a situation with calm, rational, intelligent conversation they need to part company and stay single until each has reached that level of maturity. While women are just as dangerous to men as men are to women, it is usually the woman that gets the short (or long) end of the stick…right upside her head! (Look at the stats.) Violence is never the solution to any dispute. There are thousands upon thousands of men and women in cemeteries because they initiated violence against their lover/spouse and that lover/spouse retaliated by taking the other’s life. I guess to some of you that’s okay because he/she struck first and that is just what can happen. Most of you sound like you are urging on a street fight and as you witness one human take the lilfe of another, you mill about the crime scene hoping the news will cover it so that you can be seen on the 6 or 11 o’clock news. Your time would be better spent improving your grammar and spelling so that you are able to write better comments/blogs.
