Rihanna Light Skin Discrimination – Rihanna who graces the August 2008 issue of InStyle magazine has revealed that she was a victim of discrimination as a child growing up in Barbados because of her light skin.She said:
“Having lighter skin wasn’t a problem in my household, but it was when I went to school -which really confused me at first.” “The harassment continued to my very last day of elementary school.”
