Raven Symoné Slams Haters – Raven Symoné is blasting people who are saying that she is too fat.Here is what she told PEOPLE mag:

“People come up to me and have certain words for me, but you know what I do? I say, ‘I’m healthy, I exercise, I believe in myself, and I think I’m beautiful,’ ” . “You just have to learn how to transform the pressures into something that doesn’t soak into you on a personal level. You see it, you breathe past it, you don’t let it sink into your self-esteem.” “At the end of the day I’ll call my best friend and yell and scream and get it out,” she says. “And the next morning, it’s out of my system.
i have been where she is, never had people say things to my face but on a personal level.
but all the while i kept up my emotional eating to the point i was morbidly obsese.
she is not BUT SHE IS OVERWEIGHT. she needs to lose the weight, not for beauty acceptance or anything else, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF HER HEALTH. I HOPE SHE REALISES THAT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY DIE DUE TO DIABETES – IT’S A VERY SERIOUS DISEASE.
Raven is excercising everyday she is Fit, and I give her Health Tips, and what to do from time to time…I will stand by her if she allows me to. Raven is Fit now as well she looks lovely, and Fly!
Raven is a little thick bur she aint fat. People acting like she jiggly and wiggly and nasty lookin. To me it don’t matter what size u are as long as you feel good about yourself and u carry urself with confidence and pride.
i agree, ms lady isn’t fat by far. it’s far better to be happy and healthy than unhealthy and unhappily too thin. plus, that enormous rack of hers makes her look bigger than what she really is.
I dont think that raven is fat! For me as a young african american girl I think that raven is a perfect role model!

Lisa. That is not true. Just because you’ve been overweight before doesn’t mean you have to call her that. That was a rude, ignorant, and stuck up comment. You can’t tell her to loose weight. She is fine. If she really wanted to loose weight she could. you need to think of the Facts first instead of critizing people. Raven is Healthy, she works out everyday, and is considered average. She is very beautiful, and it is good to finally see a good woman who is not super skinny bulimic. She is a role model to many girls so stay out of her life. Your opinion doesn’t matter to the people who like her, if you don’t than stop posting.
I honestly think people just simply need to keep their negative comments to there self she is succesful,minding her buisness and living her life. Their is nothing wrong with Raven. She’s beautiful. I learned that everybody has a fat gene somewhere in their bodies. I’m a BBW. Big Beautiful Woman. I had someone to make a comment about me being overweight. I acknowledged her comment with” Maybe you need to eat. Because skinny on you don’t look good either.”!!!!!!! Let her do her thing. She has the funds to change anything on her she wants. I appreciate overweight people.
