The economy is too bad to waste money. If Beyonce stars in this movie, I definately won’t spend my dime. I’d rather wait for it to come out on dvd and borrow is from someone.

Well, Beyonce did okay in Cadillac Records but I don’t think she has the acting ability to portray Angela Davis. This is a joke right? What about Vivica Fox. They should definately choose someone with soul. Not soul that you learned or was taught to you from a child on up but natural soul. Vivica Fox or Erykah Badu would be perfect for the role. Angela Davis is someone you can’t pretend to be, you have to actually feel her pain and her struggle. Please choose an actress who didn’t come from a well to do background, someone who at least had to struggle some time in their life, someone who has had to overcome obstacles themselves. I feel this would make the character more realistic. NOT BEYONCE. and I am a Beyonce fan.

please, please, don’t do this to us, by given this role to someone who do not have to skill’s. I think what will happen is that you will lose money, try to put more thought into the process of making this important movie, like maybe thinking about someone who has some acting skill’s and alittle more soul, Erykah
Badu, Angela Bassett, TJaraji P Henson, venessa l williams, and Paula Patton, but just don’t give it to that none talented Halle berry, if you do, then forget it, we just want go see it, she is played out, not interesting,

Has Angela Davis agreed to this? Is Beyonce the one she wants to represent her life and legacy on film?

Can the producer be contacted?

Is the producer aware of all the more seasoned experienced black actresses who would give their ‘eye-teeth’ for this role and do it far more justise fhan a mediocre actress like Beyonce Knowles? Taraji Henson, Jurnee Smolett, Jada Pinkett Smith, Thandie Newton..to name a few.

Beyonce an inconsistent ‘actress’ who fails to remain in character. She makes the viewing experience uncomfortable and unpleasant…unless the viewer is a devoted fan who thinks she can do anything including walk on water.

Is the producer considering Beyonce because she is an apparent box office draw?
Beyonce’s ego will not allow her to refuse a role she is clearly unsuited for, and this one of them.

PLEASE, Mr. Bouchareb! Consider a first rate actress.
There are plently available who would love this role and would do it honor because they love the craft of acting, and do not accept roles for the mere ‘lust’ of a gold-plated statue.

PLEASE. There are many of us who came of age during this turbulent time in America’s History who would absolutely love to see the life of Angela Davis portrayed on the silver screen.
Just not by Beyonce Knowles, who despite certain critical acclaim (’retch’) cannot act her way out of a flimsy brown bag.

Decent movie fans are trired of seeing a mediocre actress like Beyonce Knowles portray their beloved entertainers, and icons on film.
