Jamie Foxx Frank Sinatra Movie – Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has thrown his name in the mix to play in the upcoming biopic based on the life of Frank Sinatra.Foxx is up against Justin Timberlake, Harry Connick Jr., and Leo DiCaprio for the lead role.Industry insiders believe Foxx was “born to play Sinatra” and told The Daily Express:
“Cool is color-blind. Jamie would seem to be born to the role.” “Magnificent singing voice, totally convincing acting ability, like Frank himself, born the wrong side of the tracks, rags to riches, makes it big against the odds, has his brushes with authority. The guy’s a gift.”

well Jamie is one of my favorites he soo sexy and talented, but Sinatra I know he could do it, but he’ s jus the “opposite”..but yea, we in 2009 now, so uh we got a black prezident I guess now we could make Sinatra black! dat’s wha sup, Im wit it fa sho dat!!!..Jamie goin rep it,..the only way he wouldnt get tha part cuz he black but oh well…things changed now, and in tha making of a change..by Obama..
jamies’ a talented dude but in think he would be better off playing someone like
sammie davis jr. cause i think for the Sinatra film to be a believeable bio the character should be white.
theres no doubt here that jamie foxx is a talented actor and singer.. the ray charles film showed that especially.. but like we’ve seen with the likes of jouquin pheonix in Walk The Line some actors we taught couldn’t sing, can sing.. DiCaprio suits this role down to the ground he’s the closest thing to Sinatra actor like we can get and if he opens up like pheonix did with the Johnny Cash voice this will be a great film.

no way. he is nothing like frant sinatra, and therefore should not be portraying frank sinatra. stick to playing sammy davis jr.
Ummm, no! What is so cool about Jamie Foxx? Now if the role is a Sinatra inspired role, then maybe he would do well; otherwise, just leave it alone, why not play Sammy Davis Jr. How would he like it if someone like Paul Walker played him in a biopic?
