Diana Ross Gets Kennedy Center Honors
Diana Ross along with her children were spotted leaving a hotel in Washington DC earlier today.Diana Ross has a date with the president Bush this weekend because she is among the honorees for the Kennedy Center Honors along with Martin Scorsese, Steve Martin and pianist Leon Fleisher.Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice hosted a dinner last night for them at a State Department .President Bush and first lady Laura Bush will welcome the honorees to a White House ceremony tomorrow. They will each be the subject of a tribute performance later Sunday night that will be broadcasted on December 26th on CBS.

It is about time. Honoring Diana Ross is long overdue. Not only is this lady a LEGEND she demonstrates class ane ELEGANCE and is always a LADY and a MEDIA target. CONGRATULATIONS to the BOSS………..THE LEGENDARY MISS. DIANA ROSS
WOW! What a LADY. She looks happy, confident and very much in charge. She is STILL showing the ladies of her era how it’s done. At 63, this lady still commands the attention of the camera, the stage and the world. I believe that somethings in life were meant to be, It was destined for Diana Ross to be DIANA ROSS. I love her. Her fashions still make a statement. Admit it, there is NO other FEMALE artist of her era (Gladys, Aretha, Patti, Martha,etc) that still carries the torch like Diana Ross. Sure, she’s had upside down’s. We all have. She’s a human being. But she’s turned her downside to an upswing. Aretha (may) be the Queen of Soul (food)..but DIANA is the QUEEN – PERIOD. Mary and Cindy should be happy for her. I can’t wait to see this on TV.

To start this is one event that I do not plan to miss. I’ve waited for far too long to let it slip by, and seeing her honored in such a way will be the highlight of my life. If anyone deserves to be recognized to such a degree Diana Ross does, and will be glued to the television when it happens. We love you lady, and you’re right “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough!”
A tremendous honor that is long over due. I’ve watch this lady for over 4 decades. I am still in awe of her presence, and her drive. She still commands the world stage like no other entertainer. This honor is a affirmation of what hard work can do. Never lose sight of your goals. Set them and work hard, and you can have a honored and fullfilling life. Diana Ross, the world is a better because of your music and the message of love it conveys. I thank you, and I am sure those that love and respect you, thank you as well….
Miss DIANA ROSS…the name alone captures elegance, unparalleled sophistication, awe, divine magnetism,and stunning beauty, I have admired this amazing, dazzling lady since I was about 6…was it those eyes, that smile, that innate sense of style, how she moved her arms, teased you with those alluring gazes, that incredible voice, the way she enunciated certain consonants…the words beginning with “h”…(true fans know what I am talking ’bout.)..her distinct phrasing….her smooth vocal tones…all the love and truth that contiues to be poured into her songs…the passion of it all…
Miss Ross knows how to capture an audience…she really means it when she wants those house lights up!..

Those are my cousins. I love them so much and they do not even know it. I spent many Christmas’s of my life with my “Uncle Fred” Diana’s Father who just passed the day before thanks giving R.I.P. Even though we have only met a few time in my life, I still love you guys very much, and can not wait to follow your footsteps to success.
