Will you ever address the rumors of plastic surgery?

I feel like I have already addressed that back in the day. I just hate that I admitted to it and people will say on the Internet that I don’t look the same, “Oh, she is so plastic surgeried.” I don’t look like some freak. I still look like Vivica Fox. Stop it with that! I am in a business where I get paid to look good, but I’m very proud to have African-American features. I have not changed my nose! Yeah, I have experimented with it, but no, I’m not doing any more of that plastic surgery crap. I’m not the first or the only one, but I’m the idiot that admitted to it. Now everyone says, “That is her whole look.” I take care of myself.

What is the most misunderstood thing about you?

That I’m a desperate aging starlet [who] does desperate things for attention. That always blows me away— “Well, her career is almost over, that’s why she is doing this.” My career is very successful, and I have other chapters that I am going into. And stop believing everything you read on the Internet! And stop making up stuff and putting that on the Internet…and check your facts. Don’t be happy to hear about another person’s downfalls, too. Let’s stick together and not tear each other down.

“I don’t know how I became the queen of a little bit of scandal. It’s part of the business. It’s part of what’s happening in show business now. If there’s one thing I’d love to say to people who put out scandalous rumors and false lies about Vivica Fox it’s to realize that I have a mother. I have a father. I have brothers. Fox added:

It’s about a young woman who comes from Atlanta with her daughter and husband. They come to LA and he’s a young doctor. He has his own practice and she helps him. After a certain point, the practice grows beyond their wildest dreams. They move to the Palisades and have a great house and in the middle of this, she finds out that her husband just betrayed her. The story is how she deals with it and her redemption and also his redemption. It’s also a murder mystery and who killed a certain person.

I just think that the African American culture is a little homophobic and we like to think that AIDS was a gay disease and we’ve tried to sweep it underneath the rug and that it affects other people. Since the 80s, the only person we thought was affected by it was Magic Johnson, and he’s still alive and we’re all good. I just believe it’s just a little bit of us that are homophobic and we need to address the issue and more importantly we need to practice safe sex.

She added:
