Serena Williams was pictured winning her way to the Australian Open quarter-finals last night.
Serena Williams gave her opinion about her sister Venus Williams buttocks being commented on by tennis commentator Roger Rasheed live on Australian TV earlier this week.
Serena told the Australian press, who used the more polite term “posterior “:
“Oh, yeah, we say booty,” “I’m not quite sure about posterior, I’ll try to keep that in the back of my mind. What are you doing? I’m shaking my posterior,”

Venus Williams Butt Controversy At Australian Open

Comments made by tennis commentator Roger Rasheed about Venus Williams’ butt prompted numerous complaints to broadcaster Channel Seven last night.Rasheed, who is a former coach of Lleyton Hewitt, had a slow motion replay of Williams’ bottom during her match against China’s Yan Zi at the Australian Open.Roger said:
“Take a look at this now. Make or think as you will, ladies, but for me, that’s a pretty good sight,”

Venus Williams ,her boyfriend Henry Kuehne ,and her sister Serena William were photographed at the launch of her clothing line EleVen in Miami,last night.
Venus Williams graduated Thursday night from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with an associate degree in fashion design with honors.
It was an eight year of hard work procedure due to the fact that her studies were frequently interrupted by her tennis career which was not in vain because she won her fourth Wimbledon title this past summer.
Williams’ line, EleVen, is now available at Steve & Barry’s and everything sells for $19.99 or less.

Venus and Serena Williams ,Common,and Star Jones were photographed at the at the launch party for her clothing line “EleVen” at Tenjune in NYC.
Tennis superstar and reigning Wimbledon® Champion Venus Williams added fashion designer to her long list of accomplishments with the launch of EleVen™.
EleVen™is a new clothing, footwear and accessories line where each item is priced at $19.98 and under.
On December 13, she will receive a degree in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
She said:
“I love fashion and the idea that I am using my design education to actually create clothing and footwear that reflects my personality and energy both on and off the court,” “My vision was to create a collection that will allow women to easily transition throughout their active lifestyles and still look fashionable. Venus Williams Beats Vania King In Japan

Venus Williams was pictured at the AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships earlier today.
For the oldest Williams sister winning never gets old.
Venus took care of her business again on Wednesday at the AIG Japan Open, dispatching fellow-American Vania King in just 49 minutes, 6-0, 6-4, at Ariake Colosseum.
She said after the game:
“I’ve got to keep concentrating, but it’s looking pretty good so far,”
“My main goal this year is to be fit and win as many titles as possible. I’m kind of greedy in that respect.”
Williams will next face Australian Alicia Molik.

Venus Williams won her 4th Wimbledon trophy yesterday,against all odds.
She became the lowest-ranked woman to win Wimbledon, beating Marion Bartoli of France 6-4, 6-1 .
“I was really motivated because no one picked me to win. They didn’t even say, ‘She can’t win.’ They weren’t even talking about me,” said Williams. “I never would doubt myself that way.”
