Usher Tameka Foster Breakup – The NY Post has revealed that Usher plans to file for separation from his wife Tameka Foster in the upcoming days.The paper claimed:

Over the weekend, Usher was seen bringing a woman out of his Los Angeles hotel room at one o’clock in the morning. Usher’s people claim that it was just a business meeting and the woman was just Usher’s “product manager.” According to sources the woman in question is a 42 year old Def Jam executive named Grace Miguel who is married to video production company owner, Lou Miguel of Box Fresh Films. That’s odd because Usher’s label is Arista, not Def Jam. So was he creeping on Tameka or planning to bounce from his label??? Insiders say that they are officially over and that Usher plans to file for separation in the coming days.

The couple has two children together.

Usher Slams Chris Brown Then Apologizes – Usher has slammed Chris Brown for going jet-skiing over the weekend in Miami. In a video posted by Jermaine Dupri as part of his “Living the Life” series, Usher said:

“I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face posted by TMZ]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

Today,Usher retracted his comments and apologized.

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

On Saturday night, Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a “serious injury in the family.”

The singer is currently by his wife’s side in Brazil.

Barack Obama – Usher has released a new song called “Hush” asking people to vote in the upcoming U.S. presidential election on 4 November 2008.Usher, who is the youth chairman of the Service Nation Summit – attended by over 500 Service Leaders including John McCain, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush – will donate a portion of the proceeds to his charity group the New Look Organization.Usher said:

“Hush is about my awakening over the past 10 years to the social issues in our country and realizing that I have a voice. As Americans we have the right to speak out about slow recovery in the Gulf Coast (after Hurricane Katrina), a long war and home foreclosures. But complaining isn’t enough, you have to also take action.

“Whether serving at the homeless shelter or going to the polls for the first time, you have to act or else Hush.”

“Everyday he wakes up in his million dollar home/his life is like a video/the only reality he knows/He jumps inside of his hundred thousand dollar car/cruising up the boulevard driving past people living hard.”

Beyonce Knowles will apparently perform at the upcoming June 24 BET Awards with Usher and Lil Wayne.In a recent interview at the BET Awards press conference Lil Wayne accidentally revealed that:

It was suppose to be a surprise that I and Beyonce are performing with Usher when I open up the show!

BET EVP Stephen Hill added:

“I’m really excited that Usher is opening the show,” “I’ll give you a little tidbit — Lil Wayne is probably closing the show. So, we have a grand opening and grand closing.”
