R. Kelly Leaving Jive Records - R. Kelly is apparently doing all that he can to end his longtime contract with Jive for a new deal with Interscope Records.The singer has plans to release his final CD via Jive called “12 Play: Fourth Quarter” later this year.R. Kelly sparked rumors that he will ditch the label after his management team began seeking a more lucrative deal for future projects last week.

Fan Debra Triplett Arrested R. Kelly Child Pornography Trial
R. Kelly’s child pornography trial was delayed yesterday after being interrupted by a crazy fan named Debra Triplett.Triplett gained access to a freight elevator reserved for the jurors in the courthouse and began to shout “Free R. Kelly!” repeatedly, until she was arrested by police.
Debra is being held on $50,000 bond, she is due back in court for a hearing on June 25th.

R. Kelly is in a trouble again ,he was hit with another lawsuit by a tour promoter that revealed that the singer owes his company $75,000 in fees.Trevanna Entertainment filed legal papers in New York last week explained that :
The firm was hired by Kelly’s national tour promoter to be the “tour director” for the singer’s recent U.S. road trip.
Kelly is also facing 14 counts of having sex with a minor in a trial due to start in in May .

Maxine Daniels decided to do an interview with the Chicago Suntimes to clarify the sexual allegations/drama with R.Kelly.Here is what Maxine had to say:
“The statement that was issued by R. Kelly’s camp to TMZ, which I interpreted as an attempt to defame Regina and George Daniels, my dad and stepmom, has made it necessary for me to respond to some of those accusations: I take full responsibility for my actions. My stepmother and father didn’t know about my relationship with the singer because I knew and he knew that they wouldn’t approve … so I tried to keep it a secret, but when my stepmother found out about our relationship, she resigned because she felt that Rob had ‘crossed the line’ by dating a girl that he has known since she was 7 years old. My stepmom was not fired for incompetence. She was Rob’s publicist for 14 years and always considered Rob not just a client … but family. And Rob thought of my dad like a father.

R.Kelly former publicist Regina Daniels husband George Daniels dropped some serious allegations saying that the singer slept with his adult daughter, Maxine.Kelly’s spokesman wasted no time and replied to the accusations with the following statement:
“It’s hard to take seriously the moral outrage expressed by George and Regina Daniels over R. Kelly’s relationship with Mr. Daniels’ adult daughter, Maxine. The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship — indeed, they encouraged it — while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly’s payroll.It was Regina Daniels, then working as a publicist for Mr. Kelly, who persuaded him to attend her step-daughter’s 21st birthday party. And it was Regina Daniels who shortly thereafter gave her step-daughter Mr. Kelly’s private phone number, with the admonition: ‘Don’t tell your father.’ It was only after Ms. Daniels resigned her position to avoid being fired for incompetence that her stepdaughter’s relationship suddenly became an issue for her and her husband.”

R. Kelly Child-Pornography Trial has finally gotten a date which is set on May 9,2008.
After six years of incessant delays, R. Kelly will be facing the music on the 14 counts of child pornography filed against him in 2002 for allegedly videotaping himself having sex with an allegedly underage girl.
Kelly, who is now 40, has pleaded not guilty to the charges and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
