Sean Diddy Combs Buying Crystal Palace London Soccer Team?

Sean “Diddy” Combs is aiming to make history as the first U.S. Hip-hop mogul to own a stake in a European soccer team.
The business-savvy rapper “can’t stop and won’t stop” when it comes to business ventures.
Combs is seeking to branch out in the world of sports, with the purchase of The Crystal Palace soccer team. The 40-year-old is planning to make a $360 million bid for the South London Crystal Palace team, which went into bankruptcy January, according to U.K.’s Daily Mirror.

Representatives for Combs confirmed he has been looking into a number of teams to become involved with, including Portsmouth in South England, but is interested in Crystal Palace because of the name, AllHipHop.com is reporting.
“Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago. The finance is in place, he’s just deciding who he thinks he’ll make a bid for,” a source said. “He could cover their debt and bankroll a return to the Premier League. He liked the name as well.”

Combs joins fellow mogul Jay-Z in an attempt to gain a piece of the lucrative soccer market in Europe. In 2005, Jay-Z was looking to purchase a stake in London’s Arsenal Gunners as well as the Chelsea Football Club.
Crystal Palace Football Club has been around since 1905. The club could be demoted into a lower sports division, as British soccer teams which go bankrupt are docked points.
In recent news, Diddy was in Atlanta on the set of Waka Flocka Flames’ video shoot in Central Station, to fire off his verse for the southern rapper’s “O Let’s Do It” remix. His cameo featured the New York Native atop of a Rolls Royce Phantom donning his signature fur coat and gold teeth.
Waka’s reaction when he heard the official remix for the first time: “Puff Daddy went ham!” Waka told MTV News last month. “Puff went crazy!”
