During the shoot it was revealed that she has a number of patches on the side of her head that is balding. Her hairline may be vanishing, but Campbell looked as good as ever.
Campbell, whose hair is naturally curly, has worn extensions over her natural hair for many years. This has apparently damaged her hair follicles, leaving her bald in a number of sections on her head.

One expert said; “It looks like traction alopecia, hair loss caused by the use of extensions.”
This occurs when the extensions pull on the natural hair and cause it to break off and damage the follicles. It usually affects the area just about the forehead, but can affect other areas of the head as well, as is the case with Campbell.
