Blige apparently had a little drama going on at her record release party Tuesday night when she hit/slapped her husband Kendu Isaacs at a New York City club for flirting with other women.An eyewitness to the incident told the New York Post:

“She turned to him and was screaming, ‘You’re not going to ruin my night.They got up in each other’s faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face. She was yelling at him, ‘What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?’ ”

Despite the video showing Blige feuding with her husband,her rep is saying otherwise claiming that the singer was actually trying to stop a fight between Isaacs and her brother:

“Mary was not fighting with her husband.Her husband and her brother got into an altercation that turned into a fight. Mary went to break up the fight.”

Blige has revealed her generous side by paying 400 dollars from her own pockets last week, when she found a girl unable to pay the complete bill for the dress she had chosen.The New York Post reports:

Blige was at the Diane von Furstenberg store in the Meatpacking District when she overheard a girl having a problem at the register.“The girl had a dress on hold that she loved, and the bill was $900. She thought it was only $500, and she couldn’t afford it,” the New York Post quoted the source as saying.The source also revealed that Blige told the saleswoman that she would like to pay for the balance on the dress.The customer was initially reluctant to accept Blige’s offer.She, however, accepted it when the singer said, “I know what it’s like to want something and not be able to have it. I insist.”Although the girl wanted to send Blige a check for the balance, Blige said, “Just enjoy it. I’m blessed, so let me do this.”

“I want to thank all of my wonderful fans who supported the announcement of my first tour in these countries and I can’t tell you how excited I was to come down in June and put on a show for you all.” “Postponing these shows has been an extremely difficult decision for me and I am sincerely sorry that I will not be able to fulfil my tour commitments, but I assure you that the November shows will be well worth the wait.”
