Kanye West American Music Awards 2008 Performance:Heartless - Kanye West won the award for Favorite rap/hip-hop album category for his Graduation album at the 2008 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.He said:

“I’d like to thank everybody who accepted me trying to break new boundaries in music,” .
“It’s our responsibility as musicians to keep pushing each other, to keep competing with each other. It’s a really great competition,” “I see artists like Beyonce and Alicia Keys and Rihanna and Chris Brown and Chris Martin all in the same room and we’re going to push this music to the point where it was like in the 1960s and ’70s where you talk about Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. We will be the new Beatles. We will be the new Hendrix. They say in any other industry, you know, you’re supposed to do better than the past … but when you say, ‘I want to be Elvis,’ they say, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ Well, I wanna be Elvis.”

Kanye West also performed ”Heartless” at the 2008 American Music Awards.

“It’s going to be the black version of The Muppets.”

The half-hour pilot will be produced by Jackhole Prods, the company founded by Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. This company was also behind Comedy Central’s puppet-centric “Crank Yankers”.

The first of ten Kanye-owned Fatburgers will open in Chi-Town’s Orland Park community in September with another to follow in January. KW Foods is presently pursuing a lease for a third outlet.
The Fatburger chain is known for its dedication to an old-fashioned style, with free jukeboxes in every outlet and an appropriate slogan: “The Last Great Hamburger Stand”. There are 93 Fatburger restaurants across the United States and Canada.
