Kanye West’s Ex-Fiancee Alexis Phifer Talks About Breakup

Kanye West and Alexis Phifer split few days ago.Alexis is now opening up about the breakup.Phifer told People.com:

“It’s always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends.”"I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.”

A friend of Kanye also weighed in,telling the website:

“They’d been having problems.” “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”

The rapper is currently on his Glow In The Dark Tour,and was not immediately available for comments.

According to various reports Kanye West and his fiancé Alexis Phifer have called it quits and therefore ending their two year engagement.Kanye asked for his diamond ring back and told Phifer:

“I just don’t think it is going to work out anymore.”

Kanye West and girlfriend Alexis Phifer were pictured at Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel autumn/winter at Paris Fashion Week in France last night.Kanye was denied access into the Balenciaga show in Paris this week and when questioned on the matter he replied:

“I understand it “I get a lot of attention and, you know, sometimes the designers don’t want anything taking the focus off the show.”

West does not mention his mother to the magazine, but he opens up about marriage with Alexis Phifer saying:

“I’m just going to go and get married — I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. It’s not to prove anything to anyone — it’s for me, for stability in my life, and I’m so happy that I found someone that I really love, that challenges me, that keeps my life interesting, that’s just as crazy as I am.”
