Beyonce Knowles And Jay-Z Shawn Carter Names Change – Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are really in love.The couple who got married back in April 2008 have decided to take both of their respective surnames in order to keep the singer’s parental line from dying out.Jay-Z better known as Shawn Carter will now be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is set to become Beyonce Knowles-Carter.A source revealed to OK:
“They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves.”
Earlier this week Beyonce’s parents Tina and Mathew divorced after 29 years of marriage.
