I had no idea Beyonce and JayZ had moved into the Scarsdale area, thats a beautiful colonial home under construction. Im suprised at the size of the home, I would have expected an even larger home than just a 15, 000 sq ft. home. God bless both of them in happiness and careers. Maybe they will move into a much larger home later. Scarsdale is a beautiful community that is well known throughout the world.
I have driven past the house a few times as I have friends that live just off the heathcote road. It looks to me like quite a big house, its recessed behind that beautiful brick georgian house on heathcote. In any case scarsdale is a lovely town with an extremely well educated population and a great school system. Im sure they will love it there. Im not a suburban person myself but I like to visit and stay the odd weekend, its always bucolic.

Kinda surprised by man bought into a town like that – the homes are kinda close together. Mr Carter is a (sort of) friend who has some funds with me in my private equity firm. My preference is California (we have manses in Woodside and Bel Air) and for New York, a modest 10K sq-ft pad in the Trump Intl. A couple years back we were looking at Pound Ridge as a suitable place (a 26-acre place came on the market but they were asking 26M and I decided against it when the economy tanked last year… considering I’d be there maybe once every few months or so, it hardly seemed worth it. As for the place is Scarsdale, yes, it seems modest but I doubt the two of them would be there all that much. Sometimes we invite them over to our chateau near Saint Tropez in April – for gangstas they are decent people and much better than many I know who are far richer…
