Soulja Boy Sneakers,Clothes Line For Yums - Soulja Boy has inked a clothes and sneaker deal with Yums Shoes, a Dallas-based clothing company. The teen rapper said:
“The Soulja boy exclusive shoe will be released in the fall along with my album.”"The Soulja Boy cartoon will also be released in the fall, so there’s three things to look out for.”
Soulja Boy will design, along with graffiti artist and designer Tex, his own signature Yums “Block Star” sneakers as well as an apparel line.Yums released the following statement:
Each Yums sneaker sole is emblazoned with graffiti art. Soulja Boy will introduce his line at the Magic trade show this fall. The rapper will appear in both television and print advertising for his Yums line and create five webisodes that will run across the Yums and Soulja Boy Web sites.
The artist’s 2007 debut, “Soulja Boy Tell’em,” has sold 919,000 copies in the United States.

Ruben Studdard Gets Married - Here is a wedding picture and videos of Ruben Studdard getting married to his fiance Surata Zuri McCants at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday.The ‘American Idol’s Season 2 winner met Surata Zuri a couple of years ago,as he was autographing CDs at a Wal-Mart.Sources say:
”Struck by her beauty, [Studdard] followed her to the store’s toy department, and requested her phone number.”

”On Idol, Studdard was dubbed the ‘Velvet Teddy Bear’ and was known for dressing down in jerseys emblazoned with 205, Birmingham’s area code. But came time for his wedding, the vocalist got decked out. He and his groomsmen wore black Joseph Abboud tuxedos from local outfitter Mr. Burch Formal Wear, says a source. The groomsmen’s shirts and vests were black, while Studdard had a white vest and a white bow tie.”

Beyonce Knowles was pictured cheering her husband Jay-Z as he performed at the Glastonbury music festival in Worthy Farm near Glastonbury in Somerset, south-west England,last night.Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis did a review of Jay-Z’s performance at the Britain’s famous Glastonbury music festival ,yesterday.Eavis said:
“Jay-Z was a good trick this year, wasn’t it? It worked really well, it was an unusual thing to do, bring hip hop from the streets of New York to Glastonbury and it be so successful, it was a real triumph.”"He put so much into it, but he was thrilled how it went and his wife Beyonce, she was dancing around. She wasn’t tempted to get up onstage? We didn’t need it, Jay-Z held it together really well. We got a text from [Coldplay's] Chris Martin saying he watched it all on the website in America, he was really thrilled, he said it was ‘absolutely brilliant’.”

Ciara Launches Modeling Career
Ciara and Chris Brown were pictured as they performed at the 2008 BET Awards in L.A. earlier this week.Ciara who has her contract ending with Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing line,has signed with modeling agency Wilhelmina. Her agents will focus on winning more contracts in the clothing and fragrance industries.Ciara said:
“Modeling has always been one of my aspirations. But I was insecure about my height. I thought I was 5 foot 7 inches but I just found out that I’m 5 foot 8 inches so I’m really excited about that”.
She added:
“I have a couple of cool things that I’m working on. The coolest thing about Steve & Barry’s is they cater to everyday people. I won’t say that my line will be like theirs, I want to stay true to who I am, but most importantly it has to be affordable”.
Ciara has plans to launch her fashion line with budget department store Steve & Barry’s sometimes this year.

“I’m not with the word only in that we had buried the word and it should have been buried.”People say, ‘Well we use it for fun and whatever.’ I’m not really feeling it and I know sometimes it comes in (to) conversation… For all the pain that has happened over the years, what that word brings up, it needs to go away.”
